Reset, unwind, and learn how to bring mindfulness skills into your family in this 6-week series, beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2024 – May 7. Two time slots available: Noon-1:15 PM or 7-8:15 PM.

Tajali Theresa Tolan, MS is a Certified P Mindfulness Educator, Peace Educator, Marriage and Family Therapist, Family Life Educator, and Registered Yoga Teacher.  She is the founder of both the Children’s Global Peace Project and The Consciousness Project–an Empowerment Life Coaching business. MS in Educational Psychology and BS in Family Life Education.  She has worked in the field for 30 years and is passionate about teaching social-emotional and mindfulness skills. Specializing in creative expression, communication, healthy parent-child relationships and peace work.

Parents and Caregivers will learn and practice skills for self-regulation for you and your child, have space for a shared practice, and tools to bring to your family.  Class will include mindfulness and awareness practice that you can use with your family.

Each session will be recorded, and a Zoom link will be provided upon registering! Participants will receive resources, books, audio and mindful activities with your family.

Week 1:  Mindfulness.  We begin where are. In this present moment. Creating calm in the chaos. In this intro session Parents and caregivers learn and practice the foundations of Mindfulness: awareness, breath, and acceptance that help to ground and learn to regulate and co regulate with your child. 

Week 2:  How we grow: Mindfulness through our bodies and our senses

Week 3:  Thoughts, beliefs, and intentions & how they impact our parenting.

Week 4:  Emotional Regulation yours and theirs. 

Week 5:  Communication and solving conflicts peacefully

Week 6:  Gratitude Connection and Compassion: Why it’s important and how to maintain.
