Description

Facilitated by seasoned Montana Mindfulness Project teacher Danielle Nicholas, this 3-hour retreat offers a low-key, beginner friendly introduction to mindfulness and experience longer periods of silence. Sitting periods will be alternated with movement practices.

The Montana Mindfulness Project teaches the Koru Mindfulness curriculum, a mindfulness approach developed at Duke University over the course of a decade by psychiatrists Holly Rogers, MD and Margaret Maytan, MD to facilitate less stress, and greater calm and resilience for young adults. The ability to calm the chatter in our minds is a crucial skill for the modern college student and young adults in general. Koru Mindfulness students are less-stressed, sleep better, and live with greater mindfulness and self-compassion.
