Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction About the Course

MBSR is an eight-week course scientifically designed to teach participants how to integrate and apply mindfulness both in their everyday lives and to the range of challenges arising from life stresses.

In this intensive training you will learn to access and cultivate your natural capacity to actively engage in caring for yourself and finding greater balance, ease and peace of mind.

Throughout the program you will be working with your own stress, pain and illness – and the challenges and demands of your everyday life.  Learning will focus on your own experience of how practicing meditation and mindfulness-based self-regulatory skills creates emotional and mental resilience by developing and refining your own internal resources which is the primary aim of the program.

For some time I’ve liked the idea of mindfulness and meditation.  Yet, one self-imposed obstacle or another has gotten in the way. For once, thanks to the gentle, yet powerful nature of this course, I’m no longer stuck, am more self-aware, calm and content.
